Why the seams matter
Exposed-fastener metal has hundreds of screws, each with a rubber washer cooking in the sun. Standing seam folds and locks the panels together instead — the fasteners live under the metal, out of the weather entirely.
Built for this climate
It reflects heat instead of soaking it up, sheds monsoon rain instantly, and shrugs off the freeze-thaw cycling that cracks tile at altitude. It's the one system that suits every roof we work on.
Solar without regret
Panels clamp to the seams — zero roof penetrations. If solar is anywhere in your plans, this is the roof that doesn't make you choose.
The finish
24-gauge steel or aluminum in a Kynar finish, matte or metallic, from desert bronze to charcoal. It reads as architecture, not agriculture.
The honest bit
The price is real — often double shingle. So is the math: one metal roof can outlast two shingle roofs and cut cooling load while it does it. It pencils for forever homes and rarely for flips. We'll tell you which one yours is.
Standing seam panel
Folded and locked to its neighbour — no gasket in the sun.
Concealed clip
Fixed on the seam line, never through a pan — the seam folds over the clip, so nothing penetrates the weather surface.
High-temp underlayment
Rated for the heat that builds under metal in July.
Roof deck
Solid deck, which is also why it is no louder than shingle.
Exposed-fastener metal puts hundreds of rubber washers in the sun. Standing seam folds the panels together and hides the fasteners under the metal.
What it

Modern strength built for Arizona
Standing seam metal roofing combines clean architectural style with exceptional long-term performance. Its raised vertical seams and concealed fastening system create a sleek, uninterrupted appearance while helping protect the roof from intense sunlight, wind-driven rain, and Arizona’s demanding temperature swings.
Unlike exposed-fastener metal systems, standing seam panels are designed to expand and contract naturally as temperatures change. This reduces stress on the roof and helps prevent common problems caused by loose fasteners, cracked sealants, and water intrusion.
Benefits of standing seam metal

Asked often
Is it loud in rain?
Over a solid deck with underlayment — which is how we install it — it's no louder than shingle. The rain-on-a-barn sound comes from metal over open framing.
Does it dent in hail?
Cosmetic denting is possible in severe hail; punctures almost never. Many policies carry cosmetic-damage exclusions for metal, which we'll walk you through before you buy, not after.
