Astera is named for the star you steer by. The idea is simple: a roof should be built to a drawing, documented like one, and handed over with paperwork you can actually use.
How we operate
Roofing has a reputation problem, and it's earned. Storm-chasers show up after hail, sign whatever they can, subcontract the work to whoever's cheapest that week, and are gone before the first leak. We built the opposite of that.
Our estimates name the products by brand and quantity. Our final invoice matches the estimate unless you signed a change order. None of that is remarkable — it's just what should be normal.
On the roof
Every estimate comes from someone who physically got on your deck, or documented why it wasn't safe to. Satellite measurements are a starting point, not an inspection.
In writing
Scope, materials, quantities, timeline, and price — line by line. Hand it to another contractor and compare apples to apples.
On the record
Photos before, during and after. You get the whole file, whether the job is a $400 repair or a full replacement.
On the hook
Ten-year workmanship warranty, transferable if you sell. If something we installed fails, we come back.
